I think the telepresence technology is a very cool thing. When you miss school, you can't really make it up and this robot helps you actually learn what you need to know without actually being there. But I think if you let the general public have the robot it could be misused or taken for granted. If kids never want to go to school they could always be on the robot and not really be paying attention. Also there is too many distractions a people's house. But if it stays only for the ones who really need it, I think it can very beneficial.
